The Canadian Mountain Lion (Cougar)
Carved in 2000 to see what my limits were. It's been out to family and back, and a part of my private collection for a few years now, but I feel it asking to stray again :) Hand Carved for 36 hours over 2 weeks time from Brazilian Soapstone using nothing but rasps, blades, sandpaper, and natural beeswax.

The Nude Sun Bather, a Miniature Sculpted Scene
Carved in October of 2012, one of my first miniature scenes on a stone face. Made from rare BC Chlorite w/gold veins, it's approximately 10cm (3") tall and wide, 2.5cm or an inch thick.
I set out to do a semi erotic/nature scene, yet as small as I dare before the essence of it was lost. So I ended up carving it as a voyeur peeking through the trees at a nude sunbather.
